katharine clark grayFrom 2006 – 2009, I worked for Origivation magazine in Philadelphia. I was lucky enough to cover some of my heroes (Perry Farrell, whaaat?) and a bunch of up-and-comers made good. Mostly I was grateful to get into shows for free, but what I learned was that the creative process for songwriting is so very closely related to playwriting… only with chords.
