Beth is an NYC newbie with a brand-new Gibson but no home or plan.  Even as the chaos of her adoptive town threatens to envelop her, she falls in with Gil, a reclusive busker musician with peerless patter and a grizzled-but-tender heart.  Coming of age is always a bitch, but better when set to music.
